About Us
Where It All Began
Established in January of 2025, founders Sydney and Ali started by preparing small meals for friends and family in their home kitchen. The response was overwhelming, everyone loved not only the flavour packed into each dish, but also the feeling of relief that came from always having a fresh, ready-to-eat meal waiting in the fridge.
Following the growing demand, we moved into a small commercial kitchen in Whitecourt.
SJ’s Meal Co. was born out of the joy found in cooking for friends and family. Watching them take that first bite and feel the warmth and connection it brought. We wanted to share that same experience with others.
Our Mission
We have a soft spot in our hearts for people who can’t always cook for themselves and are having to rely on expensive, lacklustre fast food or frozen meals. That’s where we come in. We all have friends or family members who struggle with cooking, and sometimes we do too.
At SJ’s Meal Co., we’re here to provide meals that are nourishing for the body and fulfilling for the soul. Caring for people, one meal at a time.
